a mixed experience
slow wi-fibasic breakfast
the wi-fi was pretty bad. it struggled to load even basic pages, annoying since i needed to do some work. breakfast was also not good. there were just some hard-boiled eggs, toast, and yogurts. i expected more from a hotel breakfast.

a decent stay with a few issues
friendly staffclean roomearly closure
the staff were super friendly. my room was kept very clean, i loved that. the bathroom facilities were fantastic. i was also happy to have an iron and board provided in the room.
there were no tea bags in the room, so i couldn't make a cuppa. it took about an hour to walk into town passing by an industrial estate. the bar also closed earlier than stated, a shame.

i found the staff friendly and helpful. our room was spacious. the beds were comfortable and i had a view of the river.
the floorboards were very creaky. the walls are thin. i was woken up everytime someone walked down the corridor past my room.
